Jan 05, 2014 How to start the GUI from the prompt screen | Ubuntu Linux I installed ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat and no gnome around so i did "sudo apt-get ubuntu-desktop" but the first time it only download packages and went black screen and after reboot no gnome yet!
